The well-known phenomenon of hair loss requires the right treatment for its definitive restoration. The choice of personalized treatment for each patient is based on obtaining the medical history and the correct diagnosis through a clinical examination conducted by an experienced physician. The treatment of hair loss, as well as hair care, is often of the utmost importance for the patient’s mental state.

There are many ways to fight hair loss. Depending on the size of the problem faced by each patient. Therapies can be either conservative or invasive. Let’s look at them in detail below.

PRP: It comes from the initials of the words Platelet Rich Plasma, ie plasma enriched with platelets. Treatment with PRP uses the patient’s blood plasma to restore hair function and create new hair. This treatment is applied to cases of weak and diffuse alopecia, alopecia areata,  in cases of androgenetic alopecia treatment and in combination with hair transplantation. It can also be applied to the revision of the scar after hair transplants using the FUT-Strip method. PRP treatment should be applied once a month for 4-8 sessions, depending on the size of the problem. Treatment maintenance is then required. The result is natural, without side effects because it is a component of our own self.

LLLT – Laser: Treatment with Low-Level Laser Treatment has excellent results in cases of androgenetic and diffuse alopecia. It aims at local blood supply of the scalp through increased energy production in hair follicle cells. In this way, better nourishment of the hair is achieved. The duration of treatment is 30 minutes, it is painless and bloodless.

Minoxidil Treatment: It is a medicine for hair regeneration. It is commonly used in combination with other medicines that work in adults. It is applied to the scalp, eyebrows or beard and has been shown to greatly aid hair growth in men and women. Minoxidil has minimal side effects but is not considered effective in extensive hair loss. It is a safe treatment that aims to prolong the regenerative of the hair.

Finasteride treatment: Finasteride is an effective anti-hair loss drug. It is taken by mouth, in capsule or tablet form on a daily basis, and aims at inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, a product that acts destructively in the follicular unit. In 2018, it was approved as a lotion for topical application.

Dutasteride treatment: dutasteride has a stronger effect than finasteride because it inhibits the metabolic pathway of converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone by inhibiting both enzymes responsible for this transition. It provides excellent results, but it is not given to men because of the gynecomastia it can cause as well as the fall of libido. It is preferred to be administered to postmenopausal women. It can also be used as an injectable solution by the mesotherapy method.

Stem Cell Therapy: Stem cell therapy is a modern treatment that recent clinical studies have shown to be very useful in treating hair loss. In the future, we are going to be very busy in the field of definitive hair loss treatment. This treatment involves cells that are constantly reproducing and capable of being converted into any kind of cell in the body. Stem cells are taken from the adipose tissue with a simple fat intake usually from the abdomen. The whole process is simple and painless.

Hair Transplantation  FUE & FUT Method  Treating hair loss through hair transplantation is the ultimate solution to hair loss. The two most popular methods of hair transplantation are FUE and FUT. They offer painless and natural results. Their technique is similar. They are only differentiated in the way hair follicles are taken [FUE: taking a single lane] [FUE: receiving hair follicles] and the fact that FUT hair transplants leave a scar, while FUE almost no sign.
